Make a Library Entry

Airlog's library feature is a database management system that allows pilots to store and manage their aviation data efficiently. The library is organized into several key categories that

Aircraft

The aircraft library allows you to:

  • Store details about the aircraft you fly

  • Track registration numbers, types, and company information

  • Monitor statistics for each aircraft

  • Upload and store aircraft images

  • Search and filter your aircraft collection

  • Group aircraft by company or other attributes

Aircraft Types

A dedicated section for managing aircraft types lets you:

  • Maintain details of aircraft models you fly

  • Track ICAO codes, versions, and engine information

  • Categorize aircraft (Multi-Pilot, Class, Propulsion, etc.)

  • Associate types with specific aircraft

Crew

The crew library helps you:

  • Maintain a database of fellow pilots and crew members

  • Store contact information, license numbers, and company details

  • Mark yourself as "Self" for easy logbook entries

  • Scan QR codes to quickly add new crew members

  • Track statistics of flights with specific crew members

Locations

For airports and other aviation locations, you can:

  • Store detailed information including ICAO/IATA codes

  • Record coordinates, elevation, and timezone information

  • View statistics for visits to specific locations

  • Create geo-notes for location-based reminders

  • Access a database of airports with searchable information

Certificates

The certificates section allows you to:

  • Track all your aviation documents in one place

  • Monitor expiration dates for regulatory compliance

  • Store images of certificates for easy reference

  • Manage different certificate types:

    • Medical certificates (with ECG and Audiogram tracking)

    • Licenses

    • Type ratings

    • CAT-C airport qualifications

Getting Started

To begin using the library features in Airlog:

  1. Navigate to the Library tab in the app
